The con-ference will feature keynote speakers, a panel discussion, and paper presentations.The objective of IMS 2012 is to facilitate an exchange of information on bestpractices for the latest research advances in the area of Informatics andManagement Science. IMS 2012 will provide a forum for engineers and scientistsin academia, industry, and government to address the most innovative research anddevelopment including technical challenges, social and economic issues, and topresent and discuss their ideas, results, work in progress, and experience on allaspects of Informatics and Management Science.There was a very large number of paper submissions (2351). All submissionswere reviewed by at least three Program or Technical Committee members orexternal reviewers. It was extremely difficult to select the presentations for theconference because there were so many excellent and interesting submissions.In order to allocate as many papers as possible and keep the high quality of theconference, we finally decided to accept 614 papers for presentations, reflecting a26.1 % acceptance rate. We believe that all of these papers and topics not onlyprovided novel ideas, new results, work in progress, and state-of-the-art techniquesin this field, but also stimulated the future research activities in the area ofInformatics and Management Science.The exciting program for this conference was the result of the hard andexcellent work of many others, such as Program and Technical Committeemembers, external reviewers, and Publication Chairs under a very tight schedule.We are also grateful to the members of the Local Organizing Committee forsupporting us in handling so many organizational tasks, and to the keynotespeakers for accepting to come to the conference with enthusiasm. SCM MSP430 which is low-power consumption serves as mastercontrol in this design. MSP430 receives humiture data transferred by SHT11sensor. And the processed data will be transferred to wireless radio frequencySCM CC2530 through Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). CC2530 transfers the datato coordinator through the router and finishes the transmission. This design isfeatured by simple structure, high stability and strong reliability. The original wired inspection method isboth completed and expensive. The development of new wireless zigbee tech-nology has solved the problem effectively. As working environment of the circuit on panelpoints is relatively hard, the choice of chips is of great importance. We haveadopted hardware of high stability, strong reliability and low cost as hardware ofthe circuit on panel points so that the circuit can work normally while transmittingdata stably and accurately. What’s more, they should be equipped with hugecapacity of processing and available to different complex environment. Therefore,the circuit design on panel points is combination of msp430 and cc2530.1.2 General PlanThis part contains circuit on panel points in this greenhouse inspection system. Itsmain task is to collect humiture data and transfer them to the sensor.The general plan of inspection system is:First, inspect the humiture of the greenhouse with SHT11 sensor and thentransfer the data to low-consumption msp430 SCM for processing. The processeddata will be transferred to wireless radio frequency SCM cc2530 through SPIinterface. Finally, cc2530 will transmit the data to the coordinator through therouter and the coordinator will pass the data to the upper computer to display afterconducting comprehensive analysis.The general diagram of this system is shown as Fig. 1.1.In order to further expand the transmission sphere and reduce interference toinformation transmission from the surroundings, a power amplification chipCC2591 is added in. Shen and H. Wei 1.3 Hardware Circuit DesignThe msp430 SCM is chosen as the main control chip in that it is a combined typeof 16 bit with accurate and simple order set as well as low consumption. It came tobirth in 1996 and stood out from numerous SCM because of its low consumption,rich internal and external design as well as simple and flexible developingmethods. What’s more, it has strong processing capability [1].CC2530 is chosen as the wireless transmission chip in that its high selective andsensitive index can guarantee the efficiency and reliability of the transmissionprogress. The wireless communication equipment based on this chip can support atransfer rate of 250 kbps. Therefore, rapid automatic organization between mul-tiple panel points can be realized.Digital humiture sensor SHT11 is chosen for this design. It has adopted uniqueindustrial CMOS technology, which guarantees the strong reliability and stabilityof the components. The features of this panel point circuit are as follows:The inspection sphere of temperature is -40–+123.8 ?C, accuracy of ±0.5 ?C.The inspection sphere of humidity is 0–100 %RH, accuracy of ±3 %RH.The effective working time of the panel points with two dry cells is up to over6 months.The hardware circuit of this design is mainly consisted of power supply controlmodule, storage module, interface circuit between main control chip msp430 andcc2530, interface circuit between msp430 and sensor SHT11 as well as relativeexternal circuit and driving circuit.1.3.1 Power Supply Control ModuleSeveral module of this design calls for power supply and low-consumption isdemanded. Considering this design is to be applied in outdoors, 5 V power issupplied. However, the normal working pressure of the circuit is 3.3 V, a pressuretransformation is needed. TPS79533 can be adopted in the power supply circuit asshown in Fig. 1.3.1.3.2 JATG Interface ModuleThe main function of JATG interface is to download programs and emulationdebug, consisted of five pins:TCK: inspection clock pin of JATG; TMS: selector of TAP control module;TDI: serial data input terminal for the JTAG instruct and data register; TDO: serialdata output terminal for the JTAG instruct and data register; TRST (RESET): inputsignal of test reset, effective in low level. Interface circuit is shown as Fig. 1.4.1Circuit Design of Panel Points Based on Zigbee5 1.3.3 Design of Storage ModuleA piece of AT45DB041B serial FLASH is expanded as external storage in casethat the internal flash of MSP430F149 is not enough. Msp430 sets the first SPI busto connect with FLASH; therefore msp430 stays as the main module while theAT45DB041B as the lower module. The circuit of AT45DB041B module is shownas Fig. 1.5.1.3.4 Connection of MSP430 and CC2530MSP430F149 is quite suitable for cc2530 and the connection between the two ismainly completed by SPI interface [2]. The four signals of SPI namely, CSn,SCLK, SI and SO connect with the micro-controller, of which three are inputsignals (CSn, SCLK, SI) and the other output signal (SO).
